Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information TriSolaris Capital℠ LLC (“TriSolaris, ” “we,” or “us”) collects through TriSolaris Planner℠ (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Using the Service: an account is required (see the Terms of Service). We collect your email address (used solely to send a one-time sign-in link or code -- we never see or store a password), and the financial plan you build (balances, income, spending, goals, and similar inputs), so it can sync across your devices. Your browser also keeps a local copy in its own storage as a working cache, alongside the synced copy on our servers -- not instead of it.

If you connect a bank or brokerage account (Navigator tier):through Plaid, we receive and store the linked institution's name, account names/types, the last four digits of account numbers, and account balances/holdings, so we can reflect them in your plan. Plaid access credentials are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never stored in plain text; we never receive or store your bank login credentials themselves -- those are handled entirely by Plaid.

If you subscribe: payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number -- we retain only a Stripe customer/subscription reference to manage your billing status.

2. Cookies and Tracking

We use a single functional cookie to keep you signed in (a session identifier) -- nothing else. The Service does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts of any kind as of this writing.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service, including cross-device sync
• To connect and refresh linked account balances you've chosen to sync
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send you transactional email (sign-in links/codes) -- we do not send marketing email without your consent
• To maintain the security of the Service (e.g. rate-limiting sign-in attempts; this uses your IP address transiently and does not persist it)

4. Who We Share Information With

We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate the Service:

• Plaid -- to link and sync bank/brokerage accounts you connect
• Stripe -- to process subscription and one-time payments
• Resend -- to deliver sign-in emails
• Financial Modeling Prep -- to look up public security metadata by ticker symbol (no personal information is sent -- only the ticker you enter)
• Our hosting/database providers (Vercel, and our Postgres database provider) -- to run the Service and store your data securely

Each of these providers is contractually and/or by policy limited to using your information to provide their service to us.

5. Data Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and Plaid access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and plan data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account, its synced plan data, and any linked bank/brokerage connections yourself at any time from your Account page -- no need to contact us. Deleting your account also cancels any active subscription immediately. If you'd rather we do it for you, email privacy@trisolariscap.com. Disconnecting a single linked bank/brokerage account (also available anytime from your Account page) immediately stops future syncing and removes that institution's data from our systems, without deleting your whole account.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us using the details above to exercise these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
